1. Acceptance of Terms

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the AmzCompanion browser extension, website, and related services (the “Service”).

By installing or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

Definitions

For purposes of these Terms:

“Service” means the AmzCompanion browser extension, website, APIs, backend systems, help/support endpoints, and related software and documentation.
“License” means the limited right granted to you to use the Service under an active subscription plan.
“Device” means a specific browser installation or endpoint that has been authenticated and bound to a License.
“Seat” means the number of permitted Devices under your subscription plan.
“Merchant of Record” means the third-party payment processor that manages billing, renewals, and refunds for your subscription.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and legally capable of entering into binding contracts to use the Service. By using the Service, you represent and warrant that you meet these requirements.

4. License Grant

Subject to your compliance with these Terms and payment of applicable fees, AmzCompanion grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable License to install and use the Service in accordance with your subscription plan.

This License:

Is limited to the number of Seats purchased.
Is limited to authorized Devices.
Does not grant ownership rights in the Service.

We reserve all rights not expressly granted.

5. Free Trials

If a free trial is offered:

You may be required to provide payment details
The subscription will automatically convert to a paid plan unless cancelled before trial expiry

6. Subscriptions & Billing

Subscriptions are billed and managed by our Merchant of Record, LemonSqueezy.

By purchasing a subscription, you agree that:

Billing, renewals, cancellations, and refunds are governed by LemonSqueezy’s terms and policies.
Subscriptions may automatically renew unless cancelled before the renewal date.
Cancellation must be completed through LemonSqueezy.
We receive limited subscription and transaction information necessary to activate, maintain, or deactivate your License.

We do not store your full payment card details.

Failure to maintain an active subscription may result in suspension or termination of access to the Service.

7. Authentication & Account Security

Access to the Service requires authentication. The Service uses access tokens, refresh tokens, and device associations to verify sessions and enforce License limits.

You are responsible for:

Maintaining the confidentiality of authentication credentials
Preventing unauthorized access to your License
Ensuring use does not exceed your Seat limit

You may not:

Share authentication tokens
Bypass device binding or Seat restrictions
Attempt to tamper with License enforcement mechanisms

We may suspend or revoke access if we detect suspected abuse, compromise, or violations of these Terms.

8. Acceptable Use

You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms.

You may not:

Reverse engineer, decompile, modify, or create derivative works of the Service.
Circumvent, disable, or interfere with License enforcement, authentication, or security features.
Use automated scripts, bots, or external tools to access backend APIs outside normal extension functionality.
Overload, disrupt, or degrade the Service or infrastructure.
Submit fraudulent, abusive, or automated support requests.
Use the Service in violation of applicable laws or third-party platform terms.

Violation may result in suspension or termination.

9. Third-Party Platforms

The Service operates on Amazon marketplace domains to provide inventory insights.

AmzCompanion is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Amazon or any other marketplace.

You are responsible for ensuring that your use of the Service complies with Amazon’s terms and policies. We are not responsible for actions taken by Amazon or other third parties regarding your account.

10. Data & Privacy

Your use of the Service is subject to our Privacy Policy, which describes how we collect, use, and store information.

The Service does not sell personal data.

11. Availability & Modifications

We may:

Modify or discontinue features
Update the Service
Restrict or suspend access

We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, error-free operation, or accuracy of data.

Inventory insights and marketplace information are provided “as is” and may change without notice.

12. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your License if:

You violate these Terms
Payment fails or subscription lapses
We detect abuse, fraud, or security risks

You may terminate by cancelling your subscription and ceasing use of the Service.

Termination does not relieve you of outstanding payment obligations.

13. Disclaimer of Warranties

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

We do not guarantee:

Accuracy of marketplace data
Continuous availability
Compatibility with future browser updates
That the Service will meet all business needs

14. Australian Consumer Law

Nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts, or modifies any rights or remedies you may have under the Australian Consumer Law or other applicable laws that cannot be excluded.
